Specifications: Each of these 10 pieces will have at least one side that measures 3/4" in length, and an overall size estimate of 3/4” x 1/2" x 1/4”. The 10 specimens are packed together in a durable ziplock plastic bag, that has one label with the name of the material and the location in which it was found.

Material description: Feldspar has a wide range of varieties, all of which are in the 5.5-6.5 range on the Mohs hardness scale and can vary in color from white to brick-red. This particular offering is for the orthoclase variety, which is bright white, typically opaque with some transparent areas, as well as a glassy luster.
