Specifications:  This offering is for a 2 inch x 2 inch bag full of almandine garnets that measure 3/16 inch - 3/8 inches each.  The almandine garnets are packed together in a durable ziplock plastic bag, that has one label with the name of the material and the location in which it was found.

Specific Description: These garnets were harvested out of a quartz-mica schist, and although most of these garnets are clean, some may still have a little of the schist remaining on their surface.  Also, very few of these garnets will have any exterior iron staining, as most of the garnets are clean and unweathered.  Pending further elaboration, but in the mean time, if you require the specific details about this offering before making a purchase, contact us via the email or phone information on our "Customer Service" page.
